I suppose it is just fine...thought about a child's anticipation of Christmas Morning...and realized I was thinking of one of my own Christmas Past memories.It's a totally different view this side of sixty.

Cool, just feeling emotional, listening to my new Gabrielle CD, Lamb and Pork in the oven, rib of Beef going in shortly, loads of prepping still to do. I am just contemplating all the things I have to be enormously grateful for, the things we take for granted and really should be in awe of, my children and grandchildren are healthy, no pain. I am thinking about the folks who are alone and how much more painful it seems at this time of the year, surrounded by people who have someone who cares. About the people who can't be with the people they love because of war, work, whatever. I feel as if my heart will swell out of my body. I feel grateful overall, and content and a bit sad and contemplative, I think I'll have a glass of wine (I don't normally drink) So I may have a story to tell later about a ruined Dinner ;-) How are things with you?

Great. Here at home Christmas chaos but nice...
The street is very quiet. The roads around here are as quiet as you wish them in busy weekdays.
