crying is the only way your baby can tell you something is wrong. either hungry, change the diaper, has gas, teething or sleepy or needs to be cuddled.

My daughter did that too. Sometimes to save my sanity I would just have to put her in her crib and let her cry. If she is clean and fed maybe you should just let her cry. She might also have colic. My daughter in law used something called gripe water (i think that was the name of it) ask your pharmacist. It helped with gas and make a big difference. Also I noticed at walmart this year they have vibrating pillows made like a stuffed animals. I think these would be very soothing to a baby. They are fairly small and safe. I had never seen them before this xmas year so they are probably new out. If you have a walmart you might check or check on walmart.com online. They were only about $10.00.

Well, it depends how old your baby is. Infants in early months get colicy which is a lot of crying that doctors can't tell why.

Crying is also the only language the babies know to communicate in. If he / she is teething then give him / her somthing child safe to chew on like a teether. Sometimes babies go thru an episode where they get more hungry then normal, so try feed him / her. Are you breastfeeding? he / she might not be getting enough milk.

if all above is satisfied then try giving a calming bath. Some pediatric doctors even suggest chamomile tea.

May I also suggest reading or listening to "Children are from Heaven". It will help you greatly in parenting.

I cried a lot as a baby because I had earaches. (I don't remember it, but was told later). try to find some grandmothers nearby that you can consult with. (if you can't you might try a doctor, though I don't recommend it)

Could be various things depending on the age, could be gassy, need to be burped, could just want to be held, could be tired, could be teething. Best of luck to you and your baby.
