Noone really ships and boats wre invented all over the world by different people without contact to others as its a very common idea and can sprout in anyones mind just look at a river and see logs floating idea for boat then make larger boat which is a ship
so its well not invented by a single man

and we cant find out who invented boats and ships well the ones who invented it i dont really know but if u search u might find out for some specific civilization but maybe not everyone

The earliest ship mentioned is the Ark, which appears not only in Genesis (thought to have been written c1400 BC) but in the ancient Mesopotamian Epic of Gilgamesh and its sources, maybe as early as 2000 BC. Whether or not we accept these stories (actually, versions of the SAME story) as literal history, the fact remains that they show that boats of a sort were known that early.
