Is that call really that important that you need to answer it in a theater or restaurant?
How about the ones who walk up to the counter to be waited on still chatting instead of paying attention to the attendant?
Or the ones who cut you off in their car while chatting then give you the finger because you toot at them?
And don’t get me going with the walkie talkie feature of a Nextel (and this is coming for a Nextel user!)

Some people were never raised with any manners. Their world centers around themselves and how things affect them. They show no consideration for others. It's sad, but that's just how some people are. We must try to live with it and model a more excellent way.

The question is not correctly drafted. Nobody worships the phone. It is over used and mis-used. If we just use it the way it should be used, it can realy be next to God by helping the people in dificult times rather than giving them dificult times.

Depends who you talk too...I use my cell for communicating with friends and family...but I always make sure I am communicating with the people around me as well and not being rude...I think they are a great invention but yes some people don't know 'phone etiquette'.

its not really the cell phone, its the connection with friends and family and other people. thats how things like msn messenger hav become so successful, their not advertising a product, it works because everyone is so social

i don't know of anyone who worships his/her cell phone. but i agree that people certainly use their cell phones more than taking time out to pray.
