I need to know what the chances might be... I am madly in love, but I never got over my shyness to talk to her enough to get to know her, and to ask her out, she left to go to graduate school, and I was wondering how likely is it that she might come back for the summer to see her family and return to her old job just for the summer, is it possible?

I don't think that you should get infatuated with one person, because this can definitely take its toll on your life.

To be honest with you, the chances of you having a relationship with her at this point are very low. It seems that she is only coming to visit for the summer, and long-distance relationships hardly last.

Besides, how can you be in love with someone you hardly know?

You need to realize that love is something that is SHARED between two people. You cannot really love someone until you communicate with them and get to know them personally. Maybe there are many things about this girl that you don't know. Do you know all her faults?

Loving someone does not only mean knowing them personally. It also means accepting them for who they are; even accepting their faults.

You stick with this one person even though they may annoy you or anger you sometimes, because you care for them deeply.

What you are explaining is a crush, not love itself.

Don't worry, there is a lot of fish in the sea. There are more than a billion people in the world, a lot of which are women.

She is not the only girl in the world!

I am sure that there are many girls out there who are available right NOW! Try to get to know them. You may have a real lasting relationship. You may even forget about this girl.

If you are still thinking about her when she comes back, you can still take a chance.

However, I strongly advise you to let her go and meet new people. That way, you keep your options open and you don't get frustrated.

You may learn new things as well! You are not stuck in the same place.

Remember: Women are just people. Their poo poo smells just as bad as yours does.

To start a conversation, try smiling and being friendly. Try listening. Women like a man who is compassionate and understanding. That's all it takes!

if it is ment to be it will be. Try not to think about it too much things usually happen when you least expect them too. But if you do meet up again dont let you shyness get in the way,it could be your last chance.

it may happen but are you sure that you'll manage to tell her about your feelings??? if you weren't able to do this earlier, why do you think you can step over your fear???
my advise: forget her. i'm sure there is a more real woman for you. good luck :)

If it is meant to be it might be. Nothing ever happens on purpose, so it is most doubtful she will will return.

But good luck.
