It wasn't serious, or meant to be, but one year my brother gave me an empty scotch tape dispenser for Christmas. He and his wife used all the tape then he wrapped up the dispenser for me. That year everyone got gag gifts, along with the nice ones.

I havent recieved a gag gift but I just gave one to my sister today. Her boyfriends name is timmy and I call him Tim Tam,so i wrapped up a packet of tim tam biscuits and gave them to her,with the card saying...sorry i couldnt wrap Timmy up... lol
