I don't get mad at all. And I am a Jesus-followerer. I really don't think Christ would want you to get mad either. He wants you to show His love and compassion to everyone you meet. You need to shine His light....not get all bent out of shape if someone says Happy Holidays to you. "Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face. And the things of earth will go strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace."
Also...maybe it will help for you to remember that the word "Holiday" is actually from the words, "Holy Day". And the day Jesus was born was truly a Holy Day. I hope you experience a blessed holiday season and feel the peace and grace of Christ Jesus.

Mad? What a waste of energy.
I don't do Christmas because it's too
commercialized.
But I do celebrate Christ's
Birthday in my heart, and thank God
for sending Him.
I WAS TOLD, a certain Christ believing
Religion didn't celebrate Christmas
for three, or four different reasons.
One was because Jesus told us what
to do in the Bible, and He didn't say to
celebrate His Birthday.
That bad things happened on some
of the ones that were mentioned.
That was just a couple of reasons they
don't.

To me, Happy Holidays is so much better to hear then Merry Christmas. Saying Merry Christmas is almost like taking the Lords name in vain, because the true meaning of Christmas is not (in my opinion) what people are truelly going for when they say it.

No, because not everyone has the same beliefs, I actually prefer people to say Happy Holidays for that reason. I'm not atheist, but geez...lighten up a little bit!
Merry Christmas!! :)

I'm not quite understanding your question, but all you can really say is Happy Holidays or Merry Christmas to just about anyone, and they will probably say it in return no matter what.

Doesn't make me mad-- after all, not everyone knows what I believe in, and there's more than one holiday at this time of year-- Christmas, New Year's, Hannukah, even Kawanza (I think).
But I do tend to say "Merry Christmas!" back :)
Merry Christmas to you!

I just respond, "Merry Christmas to you". Most of the time, they will then say it back.

It's easy to get angry when you're a bigot. Accept it; some people aren't Christians.
