Affirmative action in basketball? If that's what you feel then sure, I guess that would depend on your stance on AA in the workplace

No. A person's skin color doesn't affect his or her talent. If a white person's good at basketball, they'll make it on the team. If they're not, better luck next time.
White people aren't the norm or the majority--maybe where you live, yes, but globally, no--but I'm not saying any other race is, either. What I'm trying to say is that color of skin shouldn't matter--it's the person underneath: their thoughts, feelings, actions, characteristics, and abilities. A white person who didn't make the team would be just as indignant as a black person who didn't.

If the player is good enough, they will make the team! It's that simple...
Why does it have to be about Black or White. Base everything off skills.

You mean like affirmative action in basketball for white people? Sounds fair.

Like eastern Europeans, do you mean? I don't think that would do much for the quality of the game overall!

Ugh, does it MATTER? So what if the player is black or white or Asian or European or Latino or a Martian? Their race doesn't, and shouldn't, have any bearing on their abilities. :|
