yup..I agree with the other 2 guys.. and notice that every spell has a different AoE from other spells.. and every hero has a special AoE for hitting

It stands for area of effect. Any spell that does damage that does damage multiple targets is area of effect some good examples are, ravage, war stomp, bladestorm, and dragon slave.
