YEP!! If you've never known grief my friend how will you know joy when it comes your way. There is a lot more joy in life than there is grief. Most of the time you have to spread it around you to one and all you come in touch with. It's called casting your bread into the waters ...then it comes back to you fourfold, tenfold and more if you want. But if you want grief? Just spread it around a lot, trust me it'll all come back to you.
A little joy will seep in to be sure but I'm of the mind that you reap what you sow.

Yes.

Would you know what "Grief" was, and could you form a decent question about it, without any of the other words you used?

I think, for one, at least... the word "Sum" you used, would probably be equal to the "Sum".
If you understand the word "grief", after dying, you would probably still know the word "sum"; which you're saying "Grief" is, basically.

At times of depression think of the persons who are below you and you will feel better that you are not suffering as much they are.

Its not the grief throughout life, life is just like your car and its upto you to chose the person to accompany for a ride.

it seems like there is only grief in this world, in a poor mans home in a rich mans home. either way there is grief but there is more than grief there is some happiness and love even though it seems so distant because of all the mourning but it was there even if its all dreamlike now... it was there.

Take a breather from narrow perspective and recognize the great self. Life is cyclycal and you can make the cycles better by developing your wisdom.
I once felt the way you do and was much older then.

There is much more. It often seems that way when we are young, but life only gets better. At least that's how I have perceived it.
