The short answer is no, stupidity should not be a crime.

The long answer is, how would you define stupidity when you write the law? Should we use an IQ test? Which IQ test? What's the cutoff score?

People do stupid things and commit crimes. But it ought not to be a crime to be stupid. After all, there are many stupid people out there who are warm-hearted and who have good intentions.

Lastly, a person being stupid isn't something a person can control. Perhaps stupidity is linked to a specific gene. Do we want to live under a government that punishes its citizens based on their genetic make up? I wouldn't. I'd revolt. Who's with me?

Yes, it shoud be.

Like all crimes, the level of stupidity would determine it it is felony or a misdemeanor.

I would like to find a way to tag stupid drivers, so after 10 tags they would get a stupidity ticket, and after 100 lose the right to drive.

It depends on the circumstances. For example, george bush's stupidity would definetly qualify him for a felony, whereas, say, Britney Spears, would just be a misdemeanor.

Obviously, a misdemeanor. However, the perps should be made to play Blues songs for the rest of their natural life. Oh, ****, I'd have to hear about it forever. Well, those songs aren't so bad...

i find complete incompetency practically everywhere i go. every time i leave the house i fear my iq will drop just by association with the common person. But i think if it were a crime 98% of the population would be executed and 1.8% of the remainder would be in prison
