Call Judge Judy or one of those shows. That would probably work the best!

Anyone can sue anyone for anything - but in your case a better recourse might be to call the police and report them stolen. All you could recover in civil court would be the depreciated value of the items anyway - a lot less than the new value.
Edit - to Jack - while the police do often try to duck these sorts of problems with the "It's a civil matter" excuse, it's NIOT TRUE. If the cop you speak to won't respond, demand to speak to a supervisor.

Call the police and report them as stolen items immediately. You can also sue him for the value, but you need to start by making a formal theft complaint immediately. I hope you don't have lazy police in your area, for if you do, contact the State Police and file with them. The State Police also investigates why your local police won't do what they're supposed to do.
I hope your police dept. is better than mine because where I live they are lazy and very prejudice against people of color and my friends are of color.

He did not harm you, you probably did. in case you had not achieved some thing relatively unethical, you will not be harmed. He ought to have predicted you to be that form of jerk and so he set you up. Do you relatively think of, in case you pass to court docket, a jury would be inspired with the undeniable fact which you tried to stress fatherhood on somebody? what style of creep are you? you certainly shouldn't grow to be a mom because you would be a poor one. you're at fault and you have no lasting damages. i quite wish there are not fairly some relatively cruel, unethical, low everyday females who might do some thing so disgusting. by ways, condoms should not be flush, they'll trash the plumbing.

File a criminal report, have officers meet you at his residence. Tell them you lived there [since you did] and want simply to get your belongings back. If the stuff is still there, he can give it up, and everybody goes their separate ways.
If not, since the cops didn't see anything, they probably can't actually pursue criminal charges. It becomes a civil matter at that time.
Or you could have someone beat his @ss. But try the above first.

You're better off filing a criminal complaint for the theft of your belongings. Once the police show up to charge him for a felony theft that will put him prison, destroy his college education, and generally ruin his life; I suspect your stuff will magically reappear.

The police will not get involved with this one.
They will say it is a civil matter.
I will share a short event that happened to me, I coached bys B-ball. One of my players came over to see my son and he and his friends break inot our home and steal over 8k worth of stuuf.
We call the police even go as far as telling them who did it.
They do NOTHING, saying it is a godd idea that you had home owners insurance.
I went over to his home and ask his mother to let me in his room, and sure enough most of it is there.
I am afriad your best bet is to call him and say he ahs 30 minutes to produce your stuff or you will call the police, then if your are lucky u can get your belongings back.
Other advice is stay away from this loser.

You sure can. Read up on the small claims court in your area. And start looking for receipts.
