I have a Magic Chef gas oven (model no. 8113P560-60R) in my apartment. The pilot light won't stay on for more than a day or two. Only one or two burners will light. The oven flame is intermittent as well.

This is becoming aggravating.

You may have a gas pressure problem. It could be in just your range, or it could be more extensive, causing all your gas appliances to malfunction. This is considered a hazardous condition. Call your gas company immediately. They will respond right away to check out the cause of the problem.

You have up to three control valves in most ovens, some only two. These are for protection but, they can also be a pain in the butt.
If you have any trouble, you have to call in a tech to find out which valve or control is out or malfunctioning.

If it goes out completely and you can't get anyone right away, you can try lighting the oven with a match, sometimes this works. It's only a temporary issue though.

if the flame is very small it will go out, follow the pilot light Line back to the knob area, there is a small screw on the line ,block turn it very slowly to make the pilot light larger,
but no more than 1/4 inch high

Do you have a ceiling fan blowing onto the stove? Is it near a window that air gets into? Try holding a lit lighter around the window if it is close to your stove or facing the stove. See if the flame blows at any point of the window. If you have a ceiling fan. try reversing the air flow up instead of down.

you could try cleaning the small hole the gas comes out of. You can use a pin or needle. usually there is some food particle that got stuck in there. Try that and see if it works.
