Merry Christmas, Sapphire! I live alone also and will not be receiving any presents. At least you still have you parents. And, we are both blessed with a roof over our heads and Yahoo friends!

Merry Christmas! I am in the same position as you are, but it is Christmas and I do hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! Santa came for the pets, I think they will get excited when they wake up (sleeping under the blanket now)
It is rainy and cold here but I am really lucky that it rarely snows here, at least you don't have to shovel rain drops!

well I see that you're still up -- probably easier to stay on your regular schedule on your days off - me - I'm an insomniac.
Santa hasn't been here yet and I doubt if he comes - no money this year. Bought a few little things for hubby and son, but not like usual.
Since you posted this at 3 and that was 40 minutes ago, it's now almost 3 here ! (well, 20 til anyway)
Merry Christmas !!

It just hit midnight here in California! Yippee. I posted a Question 15 minutes ago & it still hasn't come up on the screen! I guess the Grinch stole my Christmas? I'm tired & cold & Happy to be indoors & off the streets.........Merry fN Christmas EVERYBODY!!!
Santa couldn't get in if he wanted to...the cops can't even get into this place without an escort! City livin' at it's finest...in a lockdown facility with cameras, metal doors & sprinklers in case of a fire! Yeah.

I don't think that Santa will be at my house since I live alone. Yes I know I live about 40' or so from my parents house, but I am the one that takes them to town and dad is the only one that has gone to town (he only buys groceries). They didn't buy any gifts this year nor did I. I couldn't afford to buy any.
Hope every body out there that does Christmas has a good one.
Merry Christmas to all of you out there that believes in it.

Well he kind of flew in and out. Said he'd be back in the
morning LOL. But seriously, hubby picked out a couple and
handed them to me after dinner. They both were things that
wouldn't fit into a stocking. A box of chocolate covered
cherries, and a new mouse pad I really needed. It has two
sweet puppies on it.
In the morning, I'll open the other two that remain. Then we
take off before noon and head to our daughters for our main
celebration. About two plus hours worth and then, home
again, so they can get their preparation done for the work
week ahead. She travels alot and he has a local job. Just
the opposite of when wives stayed home and the men
traveled on business, come to think of it.
I'm anxious to hear if anyone got anything big this Christ-
mas. I don't expect anything big, myself. Nor did I ask for
anything big. I did ask for new speakers, and a new key-
board. But I don't see anything the size of a keyboard. But
maybe some speakers are in the shoe box, sized box?
I'll wait and see.
Oh, it's 12:14 where I am!

It is 5 a.m. here in WA. I live alone but will be headed to my son's house to see what Santa brought to his family. I will cart my gifts to the family and I'm pretty sure there is something for me. A Christmas star for you!
Everyone have a wonderful Christmas!

0841 hrs here in the English Cotswolds and the rest of the family are still asleep. I have just discovered that, in my old age, its me who wants them to wake up so I can open my presents and watch the kids open theirs. Not all are truly asleep...the over 20's , crashed out on the settee appear to be in a coma.If Melissa R reads this....the prodigal son came..at last. Happy Christmas.

it is 8;30 am in minnesota and MERRY CHRISTMAS to all. my elderly parents live with me, and i received from them this laptop i am using now. got it 1 month ago. i was in shock. they told me the gift was for everything that i do for them. i never used a p.c. before so here i am doing the best i can. then this morning i received a stand for the laptop, and the most fluffiest bathrobe, sage green color. i cried, it was so sweet to see my parents so excited to watch me open my gifts like i was still a child. now we will be headed off to my sisters to gather with 30 assorted family members, ages 6 months to 73. GOD'S BLESSINGS to you and your bunch..
