Sure, as long as they didn't keep me around to fill a void until they found something better.

"Forgive" implies that they did something wrong. Feeling, or not feeling, an emotion isn't right or wrong. It's just how you feel. It's what you do about how you feel that other people have a right to judge.
What this person did was to tell you how they felt. Thank your lucky stars that they had the decency to be honest.
That's way better than having them stick around and end up treating you like crap because they don't really want to be there and end up blaming you.
Just as they had the right to how they felt, you have the right to be upset and hurt. You are NOT obliged to be a really "good sport" about this, or to be "just friends" with this person unless and until you're ready to.

I dont get this particular question, I dont believe that I ever stop loving who I love. Hating is very difficult for me. I dont think I can hate nearly as much as the evil people in this world deserve, but sorry hun, I love who I love forever. So I am not able to get an understanding of this question. Take Care-Rachel.

What is to forgive? They stopped loving you. Should they lie to you? Would you ask forgiveness for asking someone to give up happiness just to spare your feelings?

I would like to. I am having problems doing this now. My ex-boyfriend lied and cheated, broke up with me, and kicked me out--all the while saying he fell out of love with me. I can't seem to forgive him for all of this, yet. It has been less than a year, so I guess it will take more time.

Love is something we can't control.
But if he stopped loving me cuz he found some other b**** to romp around with, then I would have a hard time forgiving.

You cant really forgive someone for the way they feel. You can recognize it and address it, but there's really nothing to forgive when it comes to feelings...........

I think Srta Lola summed it up perfectly. Homicide is the best option. Manslaughter if your a woman.
