You have to file a dispute against the credit filings that you feel are not yours. Usually this process takes anywhere between 2 to 3 months. Once you file the dispute, The business owner of the account that supposedly loan you the money has to file the paperwork stating that this account actually belongs to you. If they fail to do so, then they have 15 days to remove the account from your credit report. Some will just remove it as it takes more manpower and time to research all the documents. Instead it only take 1 person and a letter to remove it from your report. Good luck!

you may try to write a letter to that credit agency explaining
that your past hung some of those up

they will investigate and agree/ or/ deny

the other ones you have now idea - put the think tank on
could it have been an obscure finance company at that
$500 car lot??

otherwise 7 years - time heals all wounds

all the best

Merry Christmas!

challenge each and every one. The burden of proof is on them. They have to prove that you took out the credit not you ex wife. And if you were the one who took it for your wife. Pay it and sue her.
