If curiosity really did kill a cat, then mine would all be dead !!
I have 8 and they are always into something -- never killed them yet !!
Besides that, everybody knows that cats have 9 lives, so as big as a lion is, they must have have 1800 lives !
that's figuring on 9 lives/10 lb cat and 1800 lives/200 lb lion

I was a lion keeper at a safari park ; cubs are like cats in their curiosity, but adults could give a happy rip about anything that is not about food or sex. They really do sleep all the time. The only time I saw more than mild curiosity from the adults was when someone in the hoof-stock section lost a rhino, and he wandered over to our perimeter fence to say "howdy"....they were PLENTY awake for that.

Curiosity killed the cat, as he stalking through the wood,....Creeping, oh so slowly, looking for some food.....The lion saw him coming, and thought what is that?....So curiosity killed the cat, but it made the lion fat.......

If curiosity killed a cat, it would just amuse a lion. They are bigger and able to fight off what they might encounter in their curiosity.

Lions are not known for their curiosity. The verse only applies to little kitty cats.

I read that they sleep 20 hours a day, so with 4 hours awake time, hmmm. I guess they would look for food....I hope I am not "food"

Curiousity killed the cat, but only perturbed the lion.
Cracked moral: it is better to be bigger.
