I spilled about a quarter cup of liquid onto one of my burners, now none of them will start. I know its best to call a repair tech but its Christmas eve. Does anyone know how I can fix this? I've tried to dry it out as much as I can.

Did you try to re-light the pilot lite if your stove has one?

In any event , if you can smell gas...get the hell out of the house NOW, and call the gas company from your cell or a neighbors phone.
