WHY DID THE USA INVADE IRAQ WITHOUT THE SUPPORT OF UN? The UN wishes to be neutral in this war.

SECOND, WHY ARE YOU PRESIDENT WHEN AL GORE GOT MORE VOTES? That statement is false because they've done a recount upon the votes repetitively and Bush had more votes.

THIRD, WHAT HAPPENED TO OSAMA BIN LADEN? We're trying to find him in afghanistan right now.

FOURTH, WHY DID THE RECESS BELL GO 20 MINUTES EARLY? How would Bush know? It's not like the Recess Bell rings when Bush cues it to ring.

AND FIFTH, WHERE IS "BOB"? The teacher should know since it's the teacher's responsibility to make sure the kids are safe and where they are suppose to be.

Post Script - This joke is very bad if you tell it to people who are actually informed.

This sounds more like a joke than sincere questions. However, I will attempt to answer such questions. I should note, prior to my answers, that I typically vote liberal (though I'm more of a radical centrist).

1) The US invasion of Iraq in spite of UN disapproval should come as no surprise. The prologue the UN, the League of Nations, was a US conception, but we never joined. There were no real objections to Kyoto, but we withdrew. The US is a maverick state, a cowboy, state, if you will. The US does not, and has never (dare I say!), committed to the UN on its beliefs, but as a forum for multilateral diplomacy. So, it makes utmost sense that, if the US wanted to, it would disregard UN opinion to do what it wanted. That is not to say that this is very sagacious, but that is US behavior since its inception (we've always refused to be boxed in--it's in our Declaration of Independence).

1) 2000 was not the first time the electoral vote differed from the popular vote. It happened three times previously. This is a relic of the electoral college, which has been argued over in political circles since its inception. I should also note that the electors themselves are elected, not the candidates. So! An elector could technically vote for whoever he/she wanted to and the tally would not be problematic.

3) No one apparently knows what happened to bin Laden. This is more valid than the other questions, but still ridiculous.

you apparently dont know the difference between questions and statements. if you did you would not ask questions, hypothetical as though they may be, that you obviously already feel you know the answers to. this seems to be an epidemic in the left of the political spectrum these days. and everyone knows that you are making a statement by setting up a far fetched scenario which if someone tries to answer make you feel vindicated just by that person trying to respond. these questions are in the same league as the 'when was the last time you beat your wife?' type questions. the cop asking it is not clever, and you are also not clever.

try reading up on aristolean logic and critical thinking if you want to form complete ideas and use them to make relevant statements to further your cause. it might also help you to discover which 9/11 'conspiracies' are actually as hypothetical as your little scenario you have laid out for us to provoke deep questioning of what we believe to be reality. it may get you applause on the daily kos, but for the most part you turn off the vast majority of who you are trying to reach by the first couple sentences.

i think you have been the victim of sophistry and rhetoric. rather then logic and critical thinking. they killed socrates for fighting against such false untruths, but id hate to think you havent used anything they learned about dialectic and forming valid arguments. or you could just let media matters do your thinking for you if you want. :)

The answer to all is that Bob's parents are serious whack jobs and the poor kid needs to be re-educated by someone who is actually non-biased.
