Well yea he was but you can't really compare him to Ike Turner because Ike battered Tina, I think Desi was a little violent but to an extent Ike had been to jail for it I don't really know if Desi went to jail or not

From what I know, you can't compare him to Ike Turner at all. Desi was just an adulterer. His upbringing taught him that cuban men were to have many lovers and he didn't understand why Lucy wasn't more accepting of it because she knew it was she that he really loved. But Lucy wanted him to be faithful and he couldn't do it so that is why they got divorced. I do believe drinking played a part at the end too.
But they had many many happy times together.

perhaps you should have tried to stand up to Ike when he was alive instead of taking pot shots at a dead man. isn't this the second or third question you've asked that is mirrored as a way of calling ike turner names? you're a coward, just like all of the other people who sat around and watched a defensless woman get "beat down" and didn't step in to help her. now who's the bastard?

the diff between ike and des is that ike was a violent adict. des was violent to a lesser extent and he didn't have a substance abuse problem
