Like at a bar or disco in Mexico how much does a beer cost or highball cost?

it all cost the same as any place in the USA or Canada.
This depends where you go. If you go to a market or lounge away from the tourist part of town it will cost much less and it is much more fun.

If you stay away from the real tourist spots, they are quite reasonable. In the little cafes in San felipe I was paying $1 for a beer, but in the discos in Rosarita beach it was $2.50

Some Margarita specials at 99cents to 1.50 US. Usually 3 to 5 US otherwise. Beer 2.50 to 3US
