I had a problem that my audio output device was not installed so I did a couple of googling and everyone keeps saying to reinstall the device so I uninstalled mine went to the website looked for a device that'll work for my model, but couldn't
and i'm out of the country and dont have the cds with me

what should I do??!

Hi. Most audio drivers are not machine dependent. See if they have a generic driver and install that. You do not say if it is an on-board chip or a sound card but you can always upgrade to a new sound card (SoundBlaster or any other) and see if that works. It should.

A simple solution for you would be to go on the net and download "RealTek AC '97 Audio". Will work for you with good results.

go to start>all programs>acessories>system tools>system information. look at the system manufacturer n system model, that the motherboard u r using.

Type in the model u r using in any search engine to search for ur driver.
