A young lady is alone in her apartment. She goes to bed with her dog on the floor beside her. In the middle of the night, she is woken up by a strange sound. She is alarmed, but reaches down to the dog, who licks her hand. She is reassured and goes back to sleep. In the morning, she finds the dog hung in the shower. Where the dog slept, she picks up a note which reads "Humans can lick, too."

In the town of Wentzeville, MO. it is said that in the early 1800's a young mother rode her horse into town with her infant son in a sling on her back. She stayed to late in town and it was past dark when she set out to return home.

As she made her way home, the sky clouded over and she could hear distant thunder as a storm approached. The road was very dark without the moonlight and she began to notice rustling noises coming from the darkness all around her. The girl began to look over her shoulder in panic as she became more and more aware of how alone she was. As the chills crawled up her spine, she hoped that the child wouldn't sense her fear.

Suddenly she heard a scream only a few feet from her horse. She became so frightened that she spurred her horse into a fast run. As the horse fled, all the jarring caused the baby to be thrown from her back. The young woman was so horrified she couldn't think, she urged the horse faster and faster away from the sound, further and further away from the child.

Later the mother returned, sick with guilt, to search for the fallen baby. Though the storm had passed, the moonlight revealed no clues to the young woman. Her child had disappeared in the night.

To this day they say if you stop on this lonely stretch of road just before a storm you can hear a loud scream, then the sound of horses hooves, and then a baby crying.

You ever adding me 2 ur contacts...... LOL also one about the hippe doll. Nobody has

heard of it that I know of so here it is:
Once a girl bought a hippe doll at the store. Her parents separated so their where 2 people in the house her and her mom, and 1 cat. The hippe doll had the peace sign on her fingers. Then the next day her cat died the hippe doll then had 3 fingers up. The girl remembered the hippie doll having 2 fingers up and thought she made a misake. The next day her mom died. Then the doll had 4 fingers up. The girl promised herself she would return it the next day, because this was creeping her out 2 much, but she never made it to the store the next day, and the doll had 5 fingers up. Do you know why.........

Besides the alligators in the sewers of N.Y., I laugh with the Elvis sightings. For scary...it's the involuntary organ donations. There's just so many out there that it's hard to choose. I also like the one about the woman picked up from the side of the road, driven to her home, only to vanish & then find out that she's really the daughter who died years ago on this same date. (The prom gal legend....can't remember exactly what they call it.)

Happy Holidays.

The wild and completely unfounded notion that President Bush has a clue as to what he is doing. Next, would be the old story of alligators lurking in the sewers of New York City.

Two teenagers are out on a deserted road and the car runs out of gas. He valiantly leaves her to find a gas station. He tells her that whatever she does, do not open the door and get out of the car. She waits for hours and hears this constant click click click on the roof of the car. She doesn't get out. The police find her the next morning, cold and afraid but alive. Her boyfriend is hanging dead upside down in a tree with his class ring (that he was supposed to give her) hitting against the roof of the car. Click Click Click.
