Lots of questions unanswered that affect a proper response:
Is the man caring for the children now?
Is the man currently in trouble with the law, or behind on his bills through neglect?
Does the man have anger issues which need to be treated?
Is the man supporting any children/relatives besides his kids from this marriage?
Are the kids 12 years old or older?
He needs a lawyer to explain the reason why those questions matter. Same questions should be asked of the mother.

It all depends what you and her bought together while married such as a house, cars, furniture, bank accounts, etc...Chances are she will get custody of the children and you will end up paying child support. You should talk to a lawyer for more information. Good luck

well that depends on a couple of things like was there a pr-nup signed by you and your other? How old are the kids? who would get the kids, the house the animals the cars exec. the way i see it everything that the couple has gotten together since they were married is community property they would have to sit down and discus who wants what and who would live in the house and who would stay......And would he have to pay alimony.

1/2 of everything gained during the marriage.
The children are another matter...that depends on the circumstances.
The wife is entitled to 1/2 of all gains, tangible and intangible, unless a prenuptial was in place before the marriage.

You need to consult an attorney. Every state has different guidlines for divorce as far as distributing marital assets, child support and spousal support payment calculation. Good Luck!

I think he will lose as much as the woman and the children .
If there is the slightest chance of fixing things it better for all parties since children are involved

He will have to pay child support but he is not losing if he loves his children. If he pays the support he still gets visitation so he is not going to be punished. (If he is not happy the wife that is making him unhappy.)

Oh, nothing really!
Just you know, money, sex, sanity, and a clean home...
So pretty much, lawyering up is all you can do......woman always get everything.
The kids too, unfortunatly....for your wife, not you..
Unless you signed a Pre-Nump...Which you didn't.
Or unless you make less than 10,000 anually....which you don't.
And yes, I am a woman.....Who happens to divorce more than I change my blasted socks....
Happy Holidays,
