No. People might think your daughter is a store and will want to shop there. And you don't want that, do you?

Kitson the store will be out of style in 5 years. So will all the people who shop there (Paris Hilton, Nicole Ritchie, etc.) If i were you, I'd give your child a more lasting tribute. Not to mention it reminds me of the word Kitchen.

You could get away with it. Kit is a cute nickname. Kit is also a nickname for Kathleen. Just tell her you liked it. If you like it, try it as a middle name. As in Julia Kitson. People will think it is a classy family name then. Either that or spell it Kitsa,Kitsan, Kitsen, Kittsan, Kittson, etc.

i dont think kitson is cute for a girl...i think it would be cuter for a boy or a dog..but defintely not for her first name...maybe a middle? im guessing your really like the store lol But it is a creative idea.

HELLL NOOOO!!!!

Couldn't you have made up a worst name?

Edit: I take it this is a store's name. Should she move away, like here where the store doesn't exsist, it will sound made up.

Would your name your child Sears or Gap?

It would be a nice name for a pet or something, but not a child.
