he has been talking to a woman half my age, same ethnic background, and beautiful. He says it has nothing to do with her, but he loves me, he just is no longer in love with me. We have two kids, been married for 15 yrs. I want to save my marraige. We have had alot our plate. Both accidents were not our fault, but the other parties were uninsured. We have mounting debt. We both just turned 40. He has never been like this before. It seems like the healthier I get the farther he gets. I lost 120 pounds, he hardly noticed. I have been cancer free since June .He says cruel things now. It's like he likes to hurt me and than comfort me. Is this mid-life crisis or more. He says all he has done is talk to her. He can still be loving and I will see parts of the old him and than he justs snaps out of himself and is the new him. What do I do?

It means he doesn't care anymore. I'm sorry, but you are better off without him.

There isn't much you can do. You can't stop someone from straying. You know better than what he is telling you! What on earth could a 40 year old man possibly have to talk about with a 20 year old? Wake up, and get the hell out of this relationship. You didn't survive cancer to be treated like this. God gave you a second chance, it's time to move on and start fresh. Good luck to you, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Marriage counseling as a last effort. End contact with the other woman or a divorce. Absolutely no choice.

Well, your marriage is in trouble. And the usual thing to do in a situation such as this is get some marriage counselling.

It's better to do something now. Than to wait until it comes to separation and divorce.

A mid-life crisis can destroy a marriage, and some men also, according to my male friends.
