You go to school to learn, not hug! =]
But seriously back in my middle school just smiling at the opposite sex would get you into trouble. They just want to make sure that the hug doesn't progress into something else. With the decisions kids are making these days I think school employees have reason to be paranoid about middle school kids 'hugging'. No offense but I was in middle school at one point too and the kids aren't as innocent and naive as thought to be.

That's kind of stupid to be honest...
kids at my school make out in the halls and when the main principal sees them they get a warning. But last year, my friend was writing on this kids arm because he was having everyone sign his arm and the assistant principal saw it and she got 3 days for sexual harrassment so the schools just kick people out when they feel bored I think.

Thats just lame...its just hugging. At my school we hug so often. People even make out but they would only receive warnings from principals and teachers. Either go to another school or stop hugging if you want to stop getting suspended.

Hey, they got the power and make the rules. Just jump through the hoops and move on. Then you can set the rules.

What's ridiculous is your spelling and grammar. Stop hugging others and stay in school.

Can always say, "one thing leads to another."
What's fair, what's unfair.
School rules, can't do much about it. No hugging or pay the price.....

if it's just a brief embrace, that punishment makes no sense to me at all.
