I have some laundry I need to do. Thought I'd take a book and have the place pretty much to myself. However, I know people will look into the window and think, "loser". Should I go anyway?

Go if you need to get it done, it should only take a short while to get done. You will have the rest of the day for Christmas stuff.Enjoy some time alone and read your book.

You need to do laundry. Your plan sounds good.

What do they know? Perhaps you're Jewish, and celebrated Hanukkah earlier this month. Perhaps you're pagan and celebrated the Solstice this last weekend. Perhaps your family doesn't get together til the evening of Christmas Day.

You can keep Christmas perfectly fine with yourself alone in a laundromat, and enjoy the renewal of life and light with freshly cleaned laundry. Sounds fine to me.

Well, look at it this way: you will be a loser, but most likely everyone else there will be a loser too so the losers can bond and maybe you can hookup with a hot dude (or dudette) out of it.

Or you can explain that you are writing a book on losers and doing research.

Maybe but If they are anywhere near a laundromat on christmas day peering in at a guy then they are probably pathetic too.

Nope. Christmas is really for children and santa's. So go do what you need to do. I'm sure your neighbors will not do it for you. You're not alone I need to do mine.

Merry Christmas
