I am soooo confused about the weeks to months thing. I think that I am 4 months, not sure though. I am for sure that I am 20 weeks. Thanks and Merry Christmas!

I was getting some answers that made me look stupid... so to clairfy...

I am confused about the fact that for the first 4 weeks, is that considered month 1? Or, is it only weeks at that point, and the first month starts at 5 weeks???? I am not dumb... just wanting some clarification.

People here are being quite nasty. It is confusing because although a pregnancy is 9 months, it's 40 weeks. So if you divide that by 4, it would be a 10 month pregnancy. The easiest way to figure it out is go by your due date. If your due on the 20, every month on the 20th, count that as another month. I would say you're 4.5 months, as 20 weeks is the halfway point. Congratulations! Have a great Christmas!

5 months pregnant; 4 weeks per month times 5 months is twenty weeks. so you are 5 mos.
