Is Springwood, NSW, Australia, a "rough area"?

We were thinking of moving to Springwood, in the Blue Mountains of Sydney. Is it a rough area because I have heard of riots/vandalisim/bashings/street racing etc.

I haven't heard of anywhere in the Blue Mountains being a "rough" area. I certainly haven't heard of any Springwood riots.

Australia is where it's at, you should definitely go. Street racing is sweet, you should join that scene when you get there, then nobody would mess with you.
