i thought it was jupiter. what color would jupiter be if it was visible?

Bright red planet - of all the planets in our solar system, there is only one red one (nicknamed The Red Planet).
That would be Mars (which has been getting brighter every night for months, and is visible most of the year).

Mars, most likely. You're supposed to be able to see it in the sky tonight, but since I'm not with you I can only guess that it is what you are looking at.

it's Mars. I heard it would be visible as a bright red object.
I guess it rarely happens.
