Attempted sex w/ my bf for the first time & although he wanted to his penis would not stay erect enough to have intercourse. He was able to with a little work with a BJ. Is this just first time jitters or should I be concerned about me or him?

No, it's common.

I guess that as you become more familiar with one anothers' bodies you will become able to make love more easily and with more satisfaction.

Give some sort of teasing by mouth or hand and if he responds to that, fine. If he loses the ability to get an erection he should see a doctor - not because of the resulting relationship problems but because it can be an early symptom of various serious conditions.

Other things: don't forget boys are very fetishistic and will respond to things you might not think of: spanking, lingerie, perfume, candle light in the room, and simply sitting and looking at you. Above all, don't rush unless it's urgent!

If it was his first time, then yes it might simply be first time jitters. First times can often be overwhelming for some people and effect performance. I'm sure with time and practice things will work out fine. Don't blame or doubt him or yourself. Rushing it or overthinking this will probably make things worst. Take it slow.

First time jitters, but I would start with alittle more foreplay and tease him till he is ready for intercourse. Good foreplay make for a good sex session.

Ugh. No guy likes this conversation. How old are you two? How long have you been together? Guys are more physically turned on than girls **sometimes**, whereas sometimes women are emotional. I don't know if this is your situation or not however.

Maybe he needs to initiate when he is "ready." Or maybe you need to take CONTROL and rip his clothes off and do whatever necessart to get him in the mood.

Tough deal.

Nah don't worry about it. Things will get better with time and practice. In the meantime keep the BJs coming.

Maybe he has a fear of getting you pregnant even if you use birth control and this could hinder his performance
