Not sure the exact age, but I noticed Santa's handwriting was strikingly similar to my Mom's lol. She told me that Santa asked her to wrap the gifts for him. Hmmm...I didn't buy it.

I think I was about 7 or 8. I fell asleep on the sofa one Christmas Eve waiting for Santa and I awoke to see my mother putting the presents under the tree. She quietly told me to go back to sleep and then tried to convince me later that it had been a dream. I didn't believe her. From then on I knew that there was no Santa and. It didn't ruin Xmas for me. I was most happy because I had my family around plus a few toys. Who could be unhappy about that?

I wasn't raised to believe in santa, I am from South America. I came to this country when I was about 3, and the first time I heard about santa claus I brushed it off because it sounded far fetched and ridiculous.

I was 8. I figured out the tooth fairy did not exist when I put a tooth under my pillow and no money was left. My parents were broke at that time so I figured it out and then it led to figuring out Santa and Easter Bunny and all those other guys

Five. A girl in the neighborhood, who was 6, found out and then told me. I told her she was wrong. Later I told my parents and older sister that this girl thought Santa wasn't real but only our parents. I could tell by their reaction that she was right afterall. I was absolutely shocked. Guess I wasn't the brightest bulb on the tree was I?

I was 5. I read it in a book. Yes, I could read at that age. But parents still tried insisting he was real. And I still insisted on telling them I read it in an encyclopedia that Santa was not real. I played along for the little brother, though.

When I was about 5 or 6, I just sorta figured it out for myself. It wasn't a big letdown either, I just kinda thought, "Huh. That doesn't make sense."
Mom says that Christmas hasn't been nearly as fun since then.

I was about 12 and completely shocked unlike my brother.
I believed in Santa with all my heart and I was so hurt when my mom broke it to me that he was fake!

I was about 8 years old! My mom sat me down like she was giving me a big talk and she told me that she and my dad were Sants, the tooth fairy, and the easter bunny! I started laughing because I already knew!
