Same stuff that happened in 2007.

No impeachment.

No new war.

No apocalypse.

No bird flu.

No global warming.

Increased obesity.

Increased ignorance.

And if a Democrat is elected President? Increased loss of personal choice and responsibility.

Predictions ! Yay, I love to predict . Nobody expects too much from my predictions anyway.
Middle East
Iraq will have calmed down a bit, and there is a little more stability due to the efforts of all the good men, and women. Iran , will not have any problems finding the genepool of world class leaders, and the tight grip of religious rigidity has miraculously relaxed somehow. It is still vague, but the middle east has changed, or is changing into a region poised to regain its position in center stage in a different way, not as the headache of the world anymore.
Bush will give way for the new president Hillary Rodham Clinton in a very smooth transition of power. The world welcomes and is paying attention to the first female president of the United States. Having her in on that playing field previously reserved only to males changes many international cultures, especially politically. There is a subtle push to modify world leadership to include females. Totally male dominated countries will be forced to recognize and modify their weak positions in being exclusively male.
Mr Bush will continue to serve the country, as Mr Clinton does. History will be kind to both men as major global changes had occured in their watch.

Even if anyone got it right, would it mean he knew ahead of time? Is there any basis to believe that prediction is either a science or an art? The only reality I know is that the future is uncertain.... full stop!!

- Iran forces go home
- oil prices rise, then stabalize
- religious dialogue between Muslims and Christians seen as better at detering fundamentalism than polotics or military.

Kira,
I don't have the power to predict the future, but I know that good will happen. Because people and their actions are imperfect, imperfect things will happen. Good thought.
