If you have a microwave to spare (because it might get ruined) and some cd's you don't want anymore, microwave a cd. it will spin in the microwave and make a pretty impressive light show. I really don't recommend it though, because the chemicals emitted might very well be toxic. I know someone who did it, and he's still alive.

Okay, here are two things that always amaze me in the microwave...

1. Water, heat until boiling, than remove and put in a couple of packets of Equal. It fizzes up and kind of foams.

2. Marshmallows. They get all swelled up and big and puffy. Way cool!

socks, if you want to warm them but not for too long because they will burn and melt the inside of your microwave and stink up the whole house.
