Noooo!!!!! You probably have a concussion, You may go to sleep and never wake up or wake up with brain damage. Just wait. Take a look at the link below.

If you got sleepy after hitting your head, you should be checked out. You should not be sleeping immediately after a head injury. Look up head injury in the web and see what info it has. Or perhaps you should just go into the ER to be checked out. It depends on how bad you hit it. You should be applying ice in any case.
peace

I once hit my head on a nightstand that caused a pretty good goose egg knot on my head. I was afraid of a concussion. My boyfriend let me sleep, but woke me about once every one to two hours to make sure I was alert. It was a bit of a pain in the ***, but he did what was necessary. Do not go to sleep without someone monitoring your level of consciousness every 1-2 hours. Hope you feel better.

you can sleep, but ask someone to wake you, at least to the point of meaningful responsiveness every two hours. You should take ONLY OTC pain relievers and if you still have a headache in the morning, a trip to the ED is probably in order.

You should not sleep, without being examined by a competent physician. A visit, to a local emergency room, or urgent care facility, is in order.
