what was that one thing? i am trying to get over my ex of a year ago, and there is one guy who is really nice and we have a lot of the same interests...but i have one peeve...and it's teeth. i feel very shallow...but he has pretty bad teeth. two big front teeth with a big gap in between. i don't want something as little as that to get to me...but it is! i saw my ex as perfect, so is it wrong of me to want something the same or better? am i being very shallow?

I dunno if its wrong lol. Don't beat yourself over it lol. Why date someone you don't feel attracted to? People call it superficial, I call it doing whats best for you.

Keep on keepin on Roz.

I do not know if you are being shallow but no one should look for perfection from a human being because it is not going to happen. If that is his greatest weakness , then that is actually pretty good. It is far better thing that he has this physical flaw than a character flaw,an integrity flaw, a weakness which creates problems being faithful or truthful etc. It is not wrong for you to want something the same or better but it should never get in the way as well because you could be throwing away a tremendous opportunity for present and future happiness.

nooo, not almost everything. smoking, mental age.
lol....i like how you described that, i could picture it. i wouldn't consider that as being shallow, i mean people are attracted to others for many reasons; physical or personality. the only thing i would say is ,it is better for you to want something better.try as much as possible to stay away from trying to look for anything that is the same cos you probably will never find it or it will remind you of ur ex...that would just hurt you the more.
if it is disturbing you, i'd say do not settle for anything less than everything.

Roz your thinking is shallow, you must change it,I read your most of questions, and can feel that still you love him a lot,but if even he come back to you, life can not be same,so it's better to forget him and start your life again with some body,as I see your age, your life is just straiting. My suggestion to you is try to forget past and begin life with new partner.Love and warm hugs.

Merry Christmas

Yeah. I went out with this gorgeous girl in my Bio class... like devastatingly beautiful, loves football, same taste in music and movies and she was really nice too. She always fawned over me in class and was always there to help me for even the littlest things... she'd even help me get dressed into my lab clothes or roll up my sleeves for me when I was about to do work! Prettiest girl in class, really nice to everybody- but when we actually went on a date we had ZERO chemistry at all! It was so ridiculously bad! We didn't get each others jokes... it was like we could barely even hold a conversation. Everything else about her was absolutely perfect though. What a bummer.
