I don't have a problem being home on either day.
I prefer it.

I think staying home for both are great. I always stay home been that way since I was a baby. I can imagine not spending Christmas/New Year's Eve not at home with family. I like to bring in the new year with the ones I love the most. I could go out and get drunk but I rather do that at home. Maybe that is why I am such a home body!

I think Christmas. Christmas is family time. It's a holiday that means something. New Year's Eve is just another day. Missing out on watching people get drunk is not big deal.

depends on what you mean? home alone on christmas eve would be the worst since i went through it before. new years eve would suck but to me christmas eve is very important to be with loved ones. if you mean by going out and partying then i would say new years. tonight i just went to church and hung out with the fam around the house! but new years is a time to let loose, go out and have a blast

New Years!!! Christmas is, pretty widely considered a family holiday, anyway. now, New Years?...That's a different animal, entirely. This holiday was specifically designed with, the single lifestyle, drunken joy and, casual sexual encounters in mind. stay at home for Christmas?...sure. but, stay at home on New Years and, You have just condemned Yourself to the life of a social pariah, exiled to social nothingness, never again to be invited to any form of interaction with Your Fellow man. human abyss.
stay at home on New Years?......I THINK NOT!!!

It doesn't bother me. I'm single and haven't been in a relationship for a long time, so I've learned to be comfortable staying at home by myself *with my kidlets*
