This girl definitely would not approve! And besides, that old "I only read it for the articles!" excuse is so lame. I wouldn't put up with that.

No you shouldn't. Playboy is not soft core porn. It's simply sexy pictures of nude beautiful girls. It's not a porno magazine, trust me look at some of the dirtier magazines out there and you will not be disgusted by playboy.

yes! you should definately care! If my boyfriend claimed to be reading only the articles in Playboy, or any other magazine of that type, I would totally be suspicious! after all, doesn't he have enough to look at right in front of him? why does he feel the need to look at others as well?

I would be upset, but only because he is trying to excuse himself out of the situation. If he likes to look at the pictures, fine, if he's actually reading it for the articles (highly unlikely) fine, but he shouldn't be trying to make up excuses to cover for himself. If he can't be open about things like that, what else is he not being open about? I like open relationships, if the guy tries to hide something it's just indicative that he is one step towards hiding something worse.

actually the articles are pretty interesting. i have a playboy subscription myself.i understand that it bothers you but unless you think he's going to leave you for those pin-up girls, there's no reason for you to remain insecure. maybe you could ask him to read some cool articles for you while you cuddle on his lap.

Blokes have eyes, they LOVE to look, they can't help themselves, you can't stop it unless you rip their eyeballs out. A couple of mags popping up here and there is no big deal to me, I look at them too just for fun. I might learn something. However, if my bloke was addicted to them and I felt he got more pleasure from them than me, then I would have issues over it, I wouldn't be happy. People do read the articles.Read yourself so you know what's in those mags. Buy womens sex mags for yourself, he'll probably want to look at them too. Don't be insecure over it, be sure of yourself.

I've dated girls who got upset by it, as well as girls who didn't care.
Honestly, you shouldn't feel threatened by it. If we look at a pretty girl in a magazine it doesn't mean that we love you any less. We don't care that you're not picture perfect like a Victoria's Secret model, because frankly we're not perfect either.
What we have with you is a real physical body, and a real mind and a real personality to go along with it.

Whether you approve or not, I promise he'll keep looking! Men are visually stimulated, so that's what they need to be satisfied. He's not looking because he wants to cheat or because he doesn't care for you, it's just how men live their lives. I promise that he'll be happier by looking! And, unless you have some real reason to think he's cheating, I definitely wouldn't worry about it. :)

well i understand how you feel, but thats the difference between men and women, men are visual, so they are into that stuff, meanwhile women are more in touch emotionaly.
however im sure some women would be ok if their boyfriends looked at that stuff.
