Alexandra Lee?My friend's mom is having a baby and said she liked this name and planned on calling her Alex. I think Lee kind of sounds like a boy's name, especially with the Alex as a first name. Can Lee be a boy's or a girl's name?

Lee is a girl's name if it's spelled Leigh.
I like Alexandra Paige better though! (That's what mine was going to be named, but it's a boy...)

I've seen it spelled Lee and Leigh or a girl. If she uses the name Alex Lee......people may think it's a boy.

Lee is kid of like a boys name. Does she have to have Alex as the first name? If so, in my opinion, I think her second name should be Kate. Don't ask me why, I think it would sound better, in my opinion.

alex doesnt sound boyish, well it does it you dont you the person, but once you know them you think of it as a girl name. and lee is def. not a boy name at all. alex lee is fine. if lee is too "boyish" then go with lynn or something

Thats so weird, my best friends name is Alexandra Lee and its beautiful. shes called alex. that fits her perfectly. Wait and see how the baby turns out and if alex fits her then thats perfectly fine. you could also call her lexi.

I think Lee is one of the few names that can go either way and not sound weird, but i prefer it spelled Leigh for a girl.
its a cute name and she could decide to go by Ally or Lexa.

it can be a girls name...my brother's name is Lee...and his daughter is Layla Lee. Alex/Alexandra Lee is really pretty-i think. its unique...its not like your calling her tom or anything =) go for it.

Alexandra Leigh would be best suited. How about Alexandra Michelle, Alexandra Grace, Alexandra Rose, Alexandra Danyelle, Alexandra Kate?
