Celebrating the Christmas holidays is a choice, neither an act of worship in and of itself, nor a moral issue.

Celebrating the promise of rebirth and renewal in the dark of winter is as old as human history. The story of the birth of Christ was placed at this time of year to coincide with these traditions.

As a Christian, I celebrate the birth of Christ not only as a real and wonderful intervention of God into human history, but symbolically through many of the traditional seasonal activities and practices, none of which involve worshiping Santa Claus, reindeer, trees or the Sun.

And a merry Christmas to you!.

Christmas is not ABOUT the reindeer, trees, etc. - it's about Christ and acknowledging a day that represents His birth. Those who truly believe should celebrate Him everyday. If Christians don't help to maintain the true meaning of Christmas through all of the commercial smoke-screen, then it truly will be meaningless for the rest of the world. And by the way, MERRY CHRISTMAS!

ummm kay I've never heard of any of those....except the sun god...
and I don't really understand your question or how how pagan Christmas relates to REAL Christmas...

but Christians celebrate Christmas because it is the date chosen to celebrate Jesus's birth

All those santa stories are just ways to commercialize Christmas so that stores can make more money.

I love this time of year for the pure fact of the Birth of my saver. Even if some people think he was not born this time of the year. I grow up loving Christmas I will teach my kids to love it as well so if you think I'm a pagan then you are judging me and that is worst then what I'm doing

i celebrate Christmas because of Jesus. i consider him as my Savior. without Jesus, reindeer, Christmas trees, santas are meaningless. too much commercialism is a meaningless Christmas. but with Jesus, everything is there

This Christian celebrates it, sans reindeers, santas, christmas trees, or sun gods. Prayer and devotion and continued Bible study are my "celebration" of CHRISTmas. Thanks for asking. God Bless you.

The gift god :D
Just kidding.....
My husband's family has always celebrated with a view to family togetherness.
And that is the biggest reason we celebrate.

Please, on OUR CHRISTIAN holiday why not leave well enough alone? Please, go do some much needed research before asking this question.....when you do your proper research you will then know why we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord! You can slander all you want but you only make a fool of yourself......
