whither you accept it or not Christmas is a christen holiday and it celebrates Jesus's birth. The world has tried to make it into secular holiday by diverting its meaning through figures like Santa clause. I see nothing about god any more. And i just want to know who thinks about him and thanks him before they open the presents on Christmas day.

Not to brag but after I had my children lay down the milk and cookies to Santa, I tried to explain the birth and death of Christ. They are 3 and 2. My 3 year old gets a little bit of it, he remembers that Jesus name is Marry. I explained to them about the presents that the 3 wise men brought baby Jesus and that is how giving presents started.
You know, I want to buy wrapping paper that had something spiritual on it like baby Jesus or the wise men or some nice angels but I couldn't find any thing but Santa, snow men, and happy holidays. I suppose if I did find what I was looking for, it would have come from China

YES! EXACTLY! THANK YOU!

I don't even understand where Santa came from. That's just another way to commercialize Christmas so stores can make more money and another excuse to spoil children. Not that I mind the presents, I love giving/recieving presents but why are WE getting presents on HIS birthday.

and I think people should stop writing "Merry Xmas"
Put Christ back in Christmas

christmas was originally a pagan holiday which had nothing to do with the birth of christ. christians just took that holiday, slapped CHRISTmas on it and called it their own. i celebrate christmas because i enjoy giving and receiving gifts as well as being with my family. i do not agree that jesus is the reason for the season because i am agnostic.

yes, I think it's really important to remember that Christmas isn't just about being kind to others, but about the one who came down to earth for us. i got given a Christian book, don't you think it's a lovely way to remind people of the true meaning by giving God related gifts?
God Bless you on this Christmas x x

You're absolutely right. I try to read the best Christmas story in Luke every year, to remind myself of why i celebrate this holiday. Keep on keeping Christ in CHRISTmas :)

Christ is the reason for the season. As we celebrate the birth of Christ, we have to be thankful for everything we got. Also, we have to invite him in our homes as he is the main celebrant. MERRY CHRISTMAS one and all!!!
