We already have societies that have a very similar level of knowledge, but knowledge means nothing without compassion. It is knowledge plus compassion the produces wisdom. A high level of compassion with the intelligence and knowledge to make it work is what is needed.

Disagree somewhat.

It is ideal in that every one has a common understanding of the expected values in society. But there are individuals who are law breakers who do not respect them, and those who are acceded to those values and live by them. And this is a common malady of all societies irrespective of what their level of knowledge is. The best that can be done is a moral equilibrium must be maintained in order to ensure the common good of the society can be sustained as well as it's future.

STRONGLY DISAGREE.
As the level of knowlege, provides some leeway in Society and allows for some growth.
If Society was built around, a basis of similar knowledge. There wouldn't be that much difference between a 'Mob' of people and a 'Mob' of Sheep.
for any who don't know in Australian Slang, the term a 'Mob of Sheep'. Is referring to a herd of sheep.

You are setting a standard that exists in the USA. But each human is an individual and chooses his/her level of knowledge. We have to have a basic level of knowledge for all citizens for a democracy to exist. Our standard now is:

1. Kinder - read, write, basic math
2. 1st - 3rd grade- pretty much literate in reading, writing and math skills
3. We are socialized by 4th grade.

This a very similar level of KNOWLEDGE...

Bor-ring...

How about a society where all its Citizens choose exactly what level of and what kind of knowledge they wish to acquire? That would be ideal.

And I think the USA comes pretty close to that.

That depends on what the level is. A low level has been done many times, unsuccessfully. A high level would be worth trying.

It dpends on the people because some people might try to outsmart others just for the sake of being smart eventually wars will spread to see who is smartest. But other things like color, race and stuff like that still matter if one person is blue and the other person is pink the pink person might diminish the other person because they are blue

It would be limited, single-dimensional and perhaps inefficient too.... but it would certainly be more congenial and peaceful..... I can't say whether that is ideal.
