Hey, Iam not in the US but there does not seem to be much support for Hillary on here.

I was just wondering what is wrong? Is it her, Bill or her policies?

Many countries have or had female presidents or prime ministers such as Germany, the UK, Ireland. Albeit they may not be superpowers but sex does not mean you cannot run a country.

To Thomas L: The US used to have public healthcare did'nt it? I could be wrong here but most countries have public healthcare and it works fine look at the EU or Canada for example.

To Shalasha: Why exactly will public healthcare not work? I have been in the US and there are a lot of successful social schemes already in place. Having people recieve affordable healthcare is not communist. I am a little biased here as this is the profession I am in.

The US Healthcare system is ranked at number 37 by the WHO, it is behind Columbia, Cyprus, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Morocco, Chile etc. The US provide universal healthcare in Irag and Afghanistan, does it not make sense that your government provides it for its own people. Access to healthcare is a Universal Right.

Gender has nothing to do with it, and Bill has nothing to do with it. i'm not so small minded. It's the fact that universal health care won't work. It's the fact that taxes will go up, it's the fact that america will porbably be vernarable agian like it was before 9/11. It's the fact that she is plastic and changes city to city. It's that every problem she sees the solution as more goverment instead of less. It's the fact that things will just keep going down the hole, except now undocumented immigrants will be voting for the United States Goverment. It is all those things and more. Gender is defenatly not an issue though. A woman can be ust as strong, powerful and effective as a man, just not Hillary, she would lead America into a socalistic and liberal hellhole, where street thugs have guns but no one else does, abortions are offered to ten yearolds and everyone's vote counts, even those who should not be voting, those who are not Americans. I'm sure I could say more bad, but that covers some of it.

Everything is wrong with Billary Clinton. As far as health care, none of the countries who have "free" health care have a population of 300 million with 20 million illegal aliens. If we have "free" health care, you'd end up with more people receiving the benefits than are paying in. Besides, THERE IS NO RIGHT TO HEALTH CARE. I know is sounds mean, but if you cant afford it, you cant get it. All I can afford is catastrophic illness coverage. If I have to go see a doc, it comes out of my pocket or I don't go. Everyone is so concerned with their rights, but they never even mention their responsibilities. A person has a responsibility to provide for their own welfare.

For me it has absolutely nothing with her being female. What it has everything to do with is her Socialistic tendencies. Personally I am not in favor of tax hikes, her taking profits from companies to fund her pet projects, universal health care is nothing but a disaster waiting to happen.

I could go on, but my point is that it is, at least for me, her policies. One of the best votes I ever cast was for a Democrat female.

There are still some of us that don't march the party line and vote the issues. I am a Republican/conservative but, I would vote for a Democrat if their platform is in line with what I would like to see happen.

I just hope that we don't have people voting for her so that they can say "I voted for the first female Presidential candidate".

Cantcu said it best... There is alot of support for her, it's just that the Repubs on YA are scared shitliss that a Dem. is going to win...which there is no doubt about. If it were another candidate out front they'd be bashing them instead of Hillary...the weakest have to make the loudest noise!

Her being a woman is not whats wrong with her. We also have a Black man and a Mormon man in the running. Two other firsts. First off, have you seen her husband? Will she be soully governing or will he play a part, resulting in a more than 8 year rule. Second...I can't even BEGIN to explain. UGH-Democrats!

I am not in favor of Hillary becoming President, but it's not because she's a woman. Both the Clintons and the Bushes bring out strong feelings in their supporters, and their detractors. I think the United States doesn't need four or eight more years of Clintons or Bushes. I think most people are ready for a change. I prefer Obama, but I could vote for Edwards too.

Hey, man I think you got it: A tri-fecta It is her. It is Bill. It is her policies. It is not her gender that is the problems, it is her.

Oprah could run and win. There are several women CEO's would could easily win if that sought to run. It is not gender.

Ponder this: If the President and First Lady have a WH wedding for Jenna in the spring summer and Hillary [God forbid] wins the election ---

Hillary in a spirit of her legacy and on upmanship, could be stage the First WH divorce as she and Bill split. She could then in 90 days arrange to have Chelsea married to Bill (yes, the same jerk who she dumped) as the First WH Incestous Wedding.

She could even pardon both Chelsea and Bill if anyone dare say that such a wedding would be illegal.

I honestly have no clue. I think her pros outdo her cons.

Everyone has baggage. A lot of hers is personal and has nothing to do with being president.

But shes been in the public eye for a while and she is probably the most well known candidate. As a result she has had the best "oppurtunity" to develop enemies unlike some of her competition who it will take longer for people to start hating.

She has also wrongly been identified as socialist. She is not a socialist, only has a few socialistic principles. But she is not even close to Canada.

Yahoo Answers is also not a great way to measure the public's response too. A lot of very opinionative people go on this (including me).

Not on here as there are a lot of neocons who spout their hatred!

Many people in the US are for her. We do not need another corrupt person in the white house who doesn't know what the truth is.

I am for Hillary! And I will vote for whoever gets the Democratic nomination! I think Republicans have screwed this country up enough!

We currently have a president who is scandless he sucks everybody knows it, but he is one big scam. Know we are suppose to vote for hillary? White water ring a bell i mean shes is involved in many scams and this is who we want to run our office? What a joke

2) Hillary collects a crap load of special interest... By doing this she puts "special interest needs" in front of "american needs" and that my friend is what has been wrong with the system for a long long time.

3) she wants to socialize healthcare uhumm "communism" uhumm. I do not need someone to hold my hand so why does she keep grabbing for it

4) Taxes raised

5) IF she socializes healthcare (more taxes raised)

6) She cant as long as i have been watching "answer the big questions" she scape goats them and brushes it off

7) People say she is experienced "in what" scams?

8) Her first bid to socialized medicine failed because guess who was involved in special interest? Bill Clinton.

9) Because although ron paul wont win he should god bless
