They both work the same just different connection.

Some comps have front usb ports for easy access tho.
Other than that I don't see why anyone can say usb is always better. You won't be able to see any difference. And really usb ports give some people peoblems at times you see more usb questions than ps/2 in here.

i always try to use ps/2 because if you need to reinstall your windows mostly a usb mouse wont woek until windows is installed, the keyboard is more important and i also always use ps/2, if you have a usb keyboard/mouse you can get an adapter to fit the ps/2 plug

PS2 is the old way, USB is the new way.

New Dell PC's do not have PS2 connections anymore.

Neither is better, both the same, speed wise, performance wise.
