I'm quite old and NORAD has been tracking Santa on Christmas Eve as long as I can remember. However, he always seems to be able to elude the military. I suspect he has had stealth capability much longer than the USA has had it in the Stealth Bomber.
If you do a search and study various societies and cultures around the world, there is one common story of a man that brings presents to children once a year. These stories are centuries old. However, understand that the world population has grown immensely since that time, so he must now rely on others to assist him.
Santa's primary function now is to direct these helpers in his cause. Think of Santa as the CEO of a huge company, and the helpers are the Vice-presidents and Managers that get things done.
Yes, Santa is real for those that believe. The ones that help are the unsung heroes in his quest. He lives in our hearts and our actions.
Be wary of those who would try to dissuade you in this belief, but do not let me convince you either. These things, like all things in life, you must investigate and decide for yourself.

Merry Christmas

Norad says they do for the young children who believe in Santa Clause. The reality is, Santa is a character and your parents should have told you this the moment you learned to read. In fact, it is the sign of a poor education system when kids over the age of 10 believe one man can deliver gifts to millions of children over night.
For the sake of preserving the holiday spirit, may i remind everyone not to tell kids who CANNOT read, that santa is NOT real. But for kids who CAN read, the best you can do for them is explain the logic. This young lady asked and I figured she should know. Happy Holidays.
