First 9lb 3oz - I labored for a LONG time and then had to have a c-section - his head was turned funny.

Second 9lb - wanted to do a v-back but he was breech with one foot down and facing out like a kangaroo in a pouch so c-section again

Third 9lb 13oz - we just planned a c-section from the beginning with him due to some medical issues.

I wanted to be "natural" but am so thankful for the medical knowledge that allowed me to deliver by c-section. Back in pioneer days I may have been one of the many women who died in childbirth.

I had some very arrogant women pass judgement on me with my first for "giving in" and having a c-section. Not sure when they had obtained their medical degree with a specialization in obstetrics! :-)

I delivered naturally. My son was a 35 - weeker who measured 20" and was 6 lbs, 12 oz. Estimated weight if he had been full term was about 10 lbs and 22" long. After I was sure he was perfectly healthy and had no health/developmental issues, I was REALLY glad I didn't deliver a 10 - pounder!
I'm really hoping Baby #2 isn't that big, or else Hubby is going to get a vasectomy the hard way, if you know what I mean =)
