Everyone is talking about the Big OSU line,, and it is big,, very big and physical. LSU's Defense is not as big, but very physical and fast. Bo Pelini is in his last year at LSU and will do everything possible to stay ahead of the Ohio offense. He wants to go out a winner. Lip gloss,, you talked about the slow runners of LSU. Most bulls are slow, but they are powerful. I know it is Jacob Hester you are referring to. You have seemed to overlook the other 3 running backs. They by no means are slow. Yes,, LSU will be fielding a more healthier team than they have had since game 4 of the season. Lot more healthier. Everyone seems to be talking about the Ohio defense,, the LSU defense and the huge offensive line of Ohio. One thing I have not seen mentioned is the Chaotic offense that Gary Crowten can put together as he did against Va. Tech. With a healthy team and everyone back in great form. Look for an offense of Gary Crowten to take the field and do what it did to Va. Tech. As one of the Va. Tech defenders told one of the LSU linemen during that game.. "Man.. we have no Idea what you guys will do next." I believe it will be the play calling of Gary Crowten that will make the biggest difference. But, Still,, I think it will be a very good game.

As an SEC guy, I'm actually going with Ohio State, for a few reasons:
--As far as coaching goes, I'll take Tressel over Miles any day, and he will have had 40+ days to prepare.
--The Buckeyes are very strong in the trenches. That can make up for the supposed speed advantage LSU has.
--Ohio State has been playing with a collective chip on its shoulder since last year's BCS title game. Being told you have little chance for 4 or 5 weeks can be a great motivator. Refer to OSU '03, Texas '06, and UF '07.
It wouldn't suprise me to see this one become an overtime thriller like the couple LSU has played.

LSU doesn't have that great of a defensive line besides Glenn Dorsey who along with QB Matt Flynn, have had injury problems late in the season. Their big threat on offense is Ali Highsmith who has the speed to challenge the Buckeye D, but I don't believe he can get behind it.
The Buckeyes come in ranked #1 in passing defense (LSU 3), scoring defense and total defense (LSU 2); ranked #3 in rushing defense. Ohio State allowed 10.9 point per game, LSU 19.7.
The Buckeye's much like LSU, have playmakers on both sides of the ball. James Laurinitis at LB is all over the field, and RB Chris "Beanie" Wells will be making seven figures on Sunday's in a town near you.
What this game comes down to is coaching. Les Miles is a phenomenal coach, but has dealt with a lot of off field distractions while Jim Tressel comes in after an absolute embarrassment last year against Florida. If this game were played anywhere other than the Superdome (New Orleans) I would choose the Buckeyes hands down.
This will be a defensive showdown and I think Beanie Wells will be the offensive player to make a difference in this game. Even though they're playing in Cajun Country, I'm picking the Buckeyes. Tressel won't incur public embarrassment two years in a row.
Go Bucks!!

Lip Gloss, when are you going to finally come up with something different. Your responses are somewhat like the old "Achy Breaky Heart" by Billy Ray Cyrus except for the fact I used to like that song the first couple hundred times I heard it. LSU will win by a large margin.
EDIT: Brettd, you can't honestly believe that you have provided an accurate description of Ohio State's defense as compared to LSU's. We played real college teams while Ohio State played garbage teams.

Hey Brett, you Ohio state fans should stay off the internet because you dont know ****. LSU's defensive line is pretty good, and Glenn Dorsey will be healthy along with Tyson Jackson. Flynn will also be healthy. He is the Quarterback. Ali Highsmith does not play offense at all. He is the middle linebacker. If your going to act like you know something at least get the players and positions correct.

Lip Gloss, you seem to lacking in the English Department. Your answers seem to match word for word. "LSU has no run game". LSU averages 200+ yards a game. You probably arent even smart enough to know that is damn good, and is better than Ohio states. We will have about 4 good running backs healthy. Our secrete weapon is our running back Trendon Holiday who is currently the fastest man in the NCAA, literally. He is the fastest 100 meter man in the country and is going to the olympics. He also clocks in at 4.09 in the 40 yards. Thats faster than any player on your team, guaranteed. Oh, and by the way your qb has more interceptions than Flynn. If your going to run your mouth you should at least know the players and the stats to back up your garbage.

No offense but most of you sound retarded... it doesn't matter if you like the Bucks or the Tigers... you want them to win ... you think they will win.. but come on your sitting here saying this team is going to win or that team is going to win when you have no clue. Show some class stop arguing the other team and just cheer for you team and let the game be played before you analyze it

The bucks are pissed about the outcome of last years title game and their tired of hearing how they dont belong there and about their record against sec teams and how down the big 10 is this year. My university has too much pride and the team will be prepared this year unlike last year plus the defense is much better and there are veterans on that team now and beanie is healthy and 1 year older. LSU has no run game with the slow running back and their starting QB always throwing the ball tot he wrong team Ha Ha the buckeye D will kill that offfense I say OSU 35 LSU 14
