Yes, there use to be hundreds of years ago. I can't remember the whole story but a older man that looks like the now days santa claus use to travel house to house giveing boys and girls presents. They call him St. Nick which was his real name. He didn't travel the world like the one now. As most people know stories change over the years making the nowday santa claus, which had streched the truth over the years. The santa Calus we know now, the one that travels the world in one night going down chimmy's is not real, but what we create in our minds, we parents keep it alive for our kids. It's just something fun we do durning the hoildays to make it more magical.

you're kidding right??
how old are you?
NO he's not real
it's completely improbable
1st off, how can he get around the world in one night?? how parents get around it: magic [no way]
2nd, he supposedly "makes" the toys even if they are video games or game systems. plus everything he "brings" can be store bought. how parents get around it: he goes into the stores and buys the stuff [what about being seen? yeah right]
3rd, the wrapping paper used on parents gifts to other people is the same as gifts from santa. parents way out of it: he wraps them when he gets to the house
4th. his handwriting is the same as mom's. Parents way around it: we just have similar penmanship [bull crap]
5th, how could be possibly carry at least 10 presents for each christian child in the world on one sleigh pulled by eight reindeer? parents way around it: magic [again, totally stupid]
oh and 6th, every year since i was 9 ive found all my christmas presents hidden behind the clothes in my parent's closet.

no..
common sense.

But I dont get why [ I know adults pretent he's real when theres children around] adults STILL talk about him as though he is real. Not even as joke, or satire of other people. Just in general, ADULTS no less talk about the fat-ss as though is will comit forced entry down their chimney, WHILE spending a thousandth of a second in each home across the world. I'm tired of it..
