Yes, but I am deployed to Iraq. Normally no, even though it can be a stressful time of year.
Cheer up and enjoy the time you have with the family!!!

Sometimes I get grumpy because I never feel I never quite get a handle on the stuff that needs to be done for the holiday and before you know it, it's here and gone. I also get annoyed with the overspending and the stress of feeling as if you have to get someone the perfect gift. I get tired of fighting with the crowds and traffic. Sometimes the weather around Christmas makes me grumpy. If it's cold, wet, overcast and rainy as it's been in S.E. Pa, it's depressing. I would love to have a crisp, sunny Christmas Day.
Also, New Year's Eve is just another day to me. When I was in my twenties I would go to clubs and parties but I haven't been into that for a long time. Don't want to be out amongst the drunk drivers.

Darn chucks yes I get grumpy. I make the Grinch look saintly right after I open my bills and see what this Christmas cost me.
But all's well right after I empty two 40 ouncers of vodka and squeeze 5 pounds of oranges. Why not buy orange juice you ask. My frustrations come off better as I'm squeezing one orange at a time. This one is mama $300. This one is junior $200. This is in-laws $50. Get my drift.

I don't get grumpy, but I don't really get into all of the propaganda of purchasing a lot of items, then becoming depressed because you've overspent.
It may not be the holidays that make you grumpy, it may be the lack of sunlight. Winter time is a struggle for me & many.
I normally go through that also, but not this year because I'm doing some form of exercise almost every to combat it.

I got a little grumpy yesterday when I had wrapped presents all day. I started saying I was turning into Scrooge and then started saying bah humbug ever so often. After that I said I was going to start tossing the presents out in the yard. LOL.

I do. I'm not grumpy, but I'm just not celebrating this holidays. I'm just normal. It's for me another month. Anyway, I didn't used to be like this, it's more a recent things (2+ years to now) because it hasn't been the best time, so you just lose the celebration appetite. But I do hope of going back to celebrate holidays, as I did.
